How to Report a Video, User or Problem on Bideo

If you see something on Bideo that breaks the rules, reporting it helps keep the community safe. Here's how to report and what happens next.

Report a video or short

1. Tap the options menu (⋮) on the video or short.
2. Choose Report Content.
3. Choose the reason that fits best — for anything involving minors, choose Child Safety Concern.
4. Submit the report.

Problems with a user in chat

• Open the chat and block the user to stop further messages.
• If their videos or posts break the rules, report that content from its options menu.
• For anything else, contact Bideo through the Contact page.

What happens after you report

• Bideo's moderation team reviews the report against the community guidelines.
• Depending on the issue, content may be removed or restricted, and accounts may be warned, suspended or terminated.
• Child safety reports are given the highest priority for immediate review and removal.

Report responsibly

• Report only real violations and give accurate details.
• Don't use reports to harass creators you simply dislike — misuse of reporting is itself against the rules.

Copyright complaints

If someone uploaded your copyrighted content, send a takedown notice using the details on the Contact page, including the Bideo link to the content.

Grievances

For other complaints, use the grievance details on the Contact page. Grievances are resolved within 15 days of receipt.
