How to Delete Your Bideo Account (and How Recovery Works)

If you no longer want to use Bideo, you can delete your account directly from the app. Here's exactly how, and what happens next.

Before you delete

• Deletion is permanent after the grace period — your videos, posts and profile data will be removed.
• If you're a monetized creator, withdraw your available balance first (see how to withdraw money).
• If you just want a break, you can simply log out instead.

How to delete your account

1. Open the Bideo app and log in.
2. Go to the Library tab.
3. Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner.
4. Under Account Actions, select Delete Profile.
5. Enter a reason and your password, tap Delete Profile, and confirm.

The 5-day grace period

• Your account enters a 5-day grace period (120 hours).
• Your profile is locked and hidden from public view straight away.
• Changed your mind? Submit an Account Recovery request during these 5 days.
• After 5 days, your data is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

Next steps

If something specific is bothering you — spam, harassment or unwanted messages — you may not need to delete your account. You can report content and block users instead.
