Bideo's rules exist to keep the platform safe, fair and enjoyable. Here's what they mean in plain language, so you can create confidently. (The full, official rules are on the Community Guidelines and Copyright Policy pages.)

What you can post

  • Your own original videos, shorts, stories and posts
  • Content you have permission to use
  • Commentary, reviews and reactions that add your own value
  • Creative, educational, entertaining and cultural content in any language

What's not allowed

  • Nudity and sexual content, and any content that sexualises minors
  • Hate speech against any religion, caste, gender, region or community
  • Harassment and bullying
  • Dangerous acts that could cause harm
  • Scams, fraud and misleading claims
  • Spam and fake engagement — fake views, followers or likes
  • Copyright violations — re-uploaded TV shows, movie clips or other creators' videos
  1. Film your own clips. It's the safest way.
  2. Don't re-upload other people's videos, TV shows or films.
  3. Use music you're allowed to use.
  4. Commentary must add value — simply re-posting a clip with a caption isn't enough.
  5. Repeat infringement can lead to suspension or termination.

If someone copies your content, the copyright owner can send a takedown notice using the details on the Contact page.

What happens after a violation

Depending on the issue, Bideo may:

  • Remove the content
  • Restrict its visibility or disable features
  • Issue a warning
  • Remove monetization
  • Suspend or terminate the account

Tips to stay safe

  • When in doubt, don't post it.
  • Keep titles and thumbnails honest.
  • Respect everyone in the comments.
  • Read the monetization requirements if you plan to earn.
