Bideo Chat Guide: Messages, Requests, Groups and Sharing Videos

Bideo has built-in chat so you can talk to friends, fans and fellow creators — and share videos without leaving the app.

Start a conversation

Open Chat and start a new conversation with another user. When you message someone new, your chat starts as a message request.

Message requests

• If someone new messages you, you'll see it as a request.
• Accept to keep chatting, or decline if you don't want to talk.
• This keeps your inbox under your control.

Group chats

• Create a group with a name, photo and description.
• Add members and choose group admins who can manage the group.
• Great for creator collaborations, fan clubs or friends.

Share videos in chat

Share any Bideo video or short directly into a chat — your friend can open and watch it in one tap.

Manage your messages

• Unsend a message you sent.
• Delete for me to remove a message only from your view.
• Unread messages show as a badge so you never miss a reply.

Stay safe in chat

• Block anyone who makes you uncomfortable — they won't be able to keep messaging you.
• Report their videos or posts if they break the rules, or contact Bideo through the Contact page.
• Never share passwords, OTPs or bank details in chat — Bideo staff will never ask for them.
• Be careful with strangers offering money, followers or "verification".
