How tough can a phone case reallv be? Rhinoshield and Sent Into Space carried an iPhone into the stratosphere above Kiruna. Sweden. then releasec it from 30.607 metres. The device fell without a parachute and landed case-first in remote wilderness, as required bv Guinness World Records. After a five-hour search, the team recovered the phone apparently undamaged and operational. The Airx case uses shock-absorbing structures inspirec by airbags and sports footwear. Guinness awarded the highest drop of a mobile phone in a case over natural landforms. The stunt demonstrated one case under controlled conditions, not the durability.
